The member institutions of the vdp active in aircraft finance are significant players in this field. At the end of 2009, their outstanding volume of aircraft loans was EUR 30 billion.

The aircraft finance market looks set to post an additional lending commitment volume of some EUR 44 billion annually in the years up to 2013.
